About the research

For the last three years, in collaborative artistic research supported by the British Academy and Oxford's John Fell Fund, we have been exploring the idea of a 'more-than-human story' of Antarctica. Drawing on our theoretical work about how stories emerge from the entangled relations between makers, materials, and environments, we devised a participatory workshop model and gathered two groups of artists and scientists to make multimodal short form pieces.
